A Family Business
In November of 2005, Drakensberg Gate & Fence was started by husband and wife team, Colin and Hesté Outram along with lifelong fencer, Jors McDonald. A need for fencing, especially security fencing in the area was the start of the business. An Xpanda franchise was added by the end of 2006. Fifteen years later, November 2020, another branch was opened in Mooi River, and Derek Moody joined the team as the director and manager of Drakensberg Gate & Fence Midlands.
Drakensberg Gate & Fence, both Winterton and Midlands currently have about fifty permanent employees. Two very competent office managers, skilled technicians, welders, fencers and drivers make up our enthusiastic team.
We stay up to date with all the latest developments in the security and fencing industry and do our best to source the best product prices without compromising on quality.
We pay attention to every detail and in building a lasting relationship with our clients. We endeavour to erect a fence that suits each client’s individual needs and try making the best practical decisions that are made to meet your budget and your requirements.
